Healthspan

Healthspan refers to the period of life during which a person is healthy and free from serious or chronic illness. Unlike lifespan, which simply measures the total number of years lived, healthspan focuses on the quality of those years, emphasizing physical, mental, and emotional well-being. By optimizing healthspan, individuals can enjoy a more active and fulfilling life, reducing the impact of aging-related diseases and disabilities.

Our organization does many things to add to the quality of life of our patients and increase the value of healthspan. This fact can be seen in our daily research, but also in other programs such as The Eagle Fund and in our partnership with FlightScope.

The Eagle Fund

The Eagle Fund is a dedicated initiative that provides support for injured active duty and veteran Special Operations Forces. This program embodies a commitment to extending healthspan, ensuring that these individuals not only regain their physical capabilities but also enhance their overall well-being.

FlightScope

FlightScope technology at Andrews Research & Education Foundation plays a crucial role in extending healthspan by providing precise, real-time data on movement and biomechanics. This advanced tool enables the development of personalized training and rehabilitation programs that enhance physical performance and reduce the risk of injury.
